The Graduate School of Business Administration (GSBA) recognizes that the international marketplace is rapidly changing through business globalization and restructuring. The worldwide strategic alliance being formed by corporations from various countries requires business leaders from different parts of the world to have in-depth understanding of a multicultural, political, economical and social environment in the regional level and can contribute their experience in the globalized corporations.

Realizing this regional significance, GSBA has designed its international MBA program to focus on businesses in the Asia-Pacific region, as the region has an increasing role in the global economy. Several economic forum have linked Asia-Pacific with the rest of the world e.g. APEC, ASEM, ASEAN, AFTA, etc. With diverse cultures and rich natural resources, the Asia-Pacific region has drawn interests from business ventures from corporations all over the world.

Graduate School of Business Administration

Established in 1967, tha Graduate School of Business Administration at NIDA is the first school in THAILAND that offers an MBA program and has continuously dedicated all the resources and expertise to provide the MBA education. About 350 students are awarded the MBA degree each year.

Students must complete 36 credit hours of course work plus 6 credit hours of business project for a total of 42 credits before taking the comprehensive examinations. Program of study is normally as follows: Year 1 Semester 1 - Business Economics 3 credits - Human Resources Management and Organization Behavior 3 credits - Strategic Marketing Management  3 credits - Accounting Issues and Problem Solving 3 credits   Semester 2 - Financial Management 3 credits - Operations and Technology Management  3 credits - Analysis of Global Setting 3 credits - Economic, Cultural, political, Legal and Business Structure in Asia-Pacific Region 3 credits   Summer Session - Business Policy and Strategic Management  credits 3 credits - Management Styles, Organizational Design and Corporate Cultures of Asia-Pacific Business 3 credits Year 2 * Semester 1 - Two business elective courses (3 credits/course) 6 credits - Asia-Pacific Business Project 3 credits * The business elective courses and Asia-Pacific Business Project will be taken at a university in Asia-Pacific with which GSBA has formed a strategic partnership.

Time range to finish this course spread over approximately 1 year and 6 months. The course divided to two semesters, one summer session and short period study aboard. Year 1 1st Semester June - October 2nd Semester November - March Summer Session April - May Year 2 Short period study aboard

This program is a full-time study. Class will normally held during weekdays, daytime.

Applicants must take the written examination, which consists of General Mathematics Test, Business Attitude Test and English proficiency Test. Or an applicants who have taken the TOEFL test with the minimum score of 550 and the GMAT test with the minimum score of 510 are not required to take the written examination. Native English applicants who have completed prior undergraduate studies from English- speaking country are exempt from TOEFL test.

Applicants must hold a Bachelor's Degree in any field from accredited institutions. Work experience is not required.
